Automatic Detection
FolloQ detects OOO replies using both email headers (RFC 3834 Auto-Submitted) and content analysis. This catches formal auto-replies, informal "I'm on vacation" messages, and even non-English OOO responses.
Return Date Extraction
When an OOO message mentions a return date ("back on April 21st," "returning May 3"), our AI extracts it and uses it to reschedule. Follow-ups before the return date are cancelled; new ones are scheduled for the day after they are back.
Adaptive Rescheduling
If no return date is mentioned, FolloQ pauses the thread entirely rather than sending emails that will be ignored. When the lead eventually replies, the thread reactivates automatically.
